As a Rebelle Rally competitor, something like the Land Rover Defender Trophy competition really appeals to me. It looks unbelievably hard, almost like something I can’t do. Which is exactly why I’d want to do it.
I had the opportunity to cover the event as media, and some of my Rebelle friends were competing, which made my FOMO even worse. However, as I watched the “feats of strength,” one thing was very clear: I’d need to start working out with a personal trainer to be ready for next year’s event!
I wrote a story for Consumer Guide Automotive detailing the event, so I won’t get into the nitty gritty here. But if Land Rover decides to make this an annual event, and you want to do it next year, it’s probably best to cozy up to your local Land Rover retailer now to help get you an entry. Oh, and start lifting heavy weights. Now.
